Pakistan Embassy

The Pakistan Embassy in Switzerland serves as the diplomatic representative of Pakistan to Switzerland, as well as to the United Nations and other international organizations in Geneva. The Embassy's mission is to promote and enhance bilateral relations between Pakistan and Switzerland, and to provide consular services to Pakistani citizens in the country.

H.E Aamir Shouket

Ambassador of Pakistan for Switzerland

Joined the Ministry of Foreign of Foreign Affairs in 1994 and since then has worked on various positions at Headquarters and abroad. During his 27 years of diplomatic service, he has served at home and abroad on various assignments. Mr. Shouket also served in the Secretariat of the Organisation for Prohibition of Chemical Weapons, located in The Hague, as Deputy Chief of Cabinet/Advisor to the Director General of the Organisation.

He holds a Masters degree in International Relations from the Australian National University Canberra and an Executive MBA in Human Resource Management from Preston University Islamabad. He has also done a diploma in Russian Language from the State Pushkin Institute in Moscow.

Mr. Shouket is married and has a daughter and son.
